Presented by Elemental Earth Union at Yorba Linda High School
April 24, 2025
Today marked the third day of Earth Week, and the Elemental Earth Union booth became more than just a display—it became a space for reflection, sharing, and planting both seeds and ideas.
The Power of Simple Things
On one side of the table, students were given eco-friendly grow kits—biodegradable pots containing seed paper cards. The cards, printed with “GREEN CAMPAIGN,” can be planted directly into the soil. Each kit offered students not just a free gift, but a chance to literally grow something from the Earth with their own hands.

“I’ve never planted anything before,” one student said. “This feels real.”
Eco Pens with Purpose
Alongside the grow kits, students received biodegradable pens engraved with eeunion.org—a reminder that small switches in daily life can lead to long-term sustainability. These pens were a hit not only for their design, but also for their message: we can write a greener future, one penstroke at a time.

Art That Stays
The stone painting station returned for its third day—this time with more creativity and confidence. Students decorated dozens of smooth white and black rocks with cartoon characters, Earth icons, hearts, trees, animals, and positive affirmations. Laughter and thoughtful silence mixed at the table as students focused on their tiny canvases.

“Some of these rocks look like stickers!” said one student, proudly holding up their painted panda.
Together Under the Tent
Under the iconic blue canopy, the Elemental Earth Union team stood proud: students, volunteers, and friends gathered to lead, explain, and simply share in the joy of doing something that matters. From raising awareness to helping others plant their first seed, today was all about accessible, human-scale action—and that’s what Earth Week is about.
